When I was a kid I played catcher on a city league baseball team. I played the position for three years, having clearly demonstrated that I was not very good at chasing down fly balls in the outfield.
Though I was a good catcher I struggled in my first few games behind the plate. I distinctly remember my coach telling me over and over again, “hang in there kid.” In doing so he was encouraging me to push through my difficulties in order to achieve success at the other end. I’m glad he did because he was right. I went on to make the All-Star team two years in a row.
As an adult some 15 years later I had a new challenge to face in the form of premature ejaculation. It seemed like no matter how hard I tried I just could not last long enough to satisfy my wife. They say the average man, medically speaking, takes only between four and six minutes of stimulation before reaching the point of ejaculation. Six minutes? That would’ve been a marathon for me before I learned how to control myself. The control I eventually learned I call the “art of hanging in there.”
Pushing Through
Believe it or not, I actually remembered my baseball coach’s advice when I finally made the decision to conquer premature ejaculation. His words rang in my head, encouraging me to keep pushing through my difficulties in order to realize the incredible rewards on the other side. His words helped encourage me when I was first learning the control techniques that would conquer my problem. It took a bit of practice, patience, and perseverance, but I eventually won the fight.
How did I do it? I used a combination of premature ejaculation formula, lots of practice, and something known as Kegel exercises. Let me explain each one:
–Premature Ejaculation Pills – In my research I discovered that part of the premature ejaculation problem is in the brain. During the sexual experience the brain causes the release of certain chemicals that progressively increase pleasure. If those chemicals are produced too quickly they can create the uncontrollable desire to ejaculate. A premature ejaculation formula has natural ingredients that help balance those all-important chemicals.
–Practice – When I played baseball I only got better as a catcher by practicing the necessary skills. That meant long hours squatting in the dirt, practicing my throws from home plate to second base, recognizing outfield and infield positions, and learning to direct my pitchers. In the same way, practicing to control your ejaculation requires putting yourself in a position to work the muscles responsible for it. It’s fairly simple to do by stimulating yourself right to the point of ejaculation then clamping down on the same muscles you use to control urination. Four or five reps per day, five days per week really helps a lot.
–Kegel Exercises – Kegel exercises involve the same process of clamping down on the muscles that control urination. Those muscles are in the pelvis and groin. By flexing these muscles and holding them firm you make them stronger and easier to control. Ten sets of 15 to 20 reps per day works wonders. And by the way, Kegel exercises were originally developed by doctors to help women in labor. They later discovered Kegels help both men and women control sexual function.
Where the Art Comes In
Earlier I referred to controlling premature ejaculation as the “art of hanging in there.” Now you might be wondering where the “art” part comes in. To answer that question, think about Michelangelo and his Sistine Chapel masterpiece.
How long did the artist lay on his back with paint and brush over his head to complete his work? You see, art is more than just throwing some paint on the wall. It is a process of envisioning what the finished work looks like before you begin, then putting all of the elements together to make it happen. It takes time, effort, and an appreciation for the beauty of what will be the finished product.
Successful lovemaking is very much the same thing. When a man learns to control premature ejaculation he can take his mind off that one area and instead devote his entire attention to pleasing his partner. He can take as much time as is needed to bring her to climax; he can incorporate many different kinds of “brush strokes” to elicit certain types of reactions; he can adopt any number of positions in order to change things up.
With a vision of wanting to enjoy the most fulfilling sexual experience possible, and an appreciation for the beauty that comes from it, the man who can control his ejaculation becomes the Michelangelo of the bedroom. And when that happens, his partner loves him even more.
If you’re suffering from premature ejaculation, hang in there. In the meantime consider conquering your problem using premature ejaculation pills, lots of practice, and some Kegel exercises.
